Mission Statement
The purpose of WJIA is very simple. Reach our part of the world for Christ. The primary sub part of that goal is to serve the Christian community. The world is wicked, nasty and unclean. In order to avoid the temptations of the world, we as Christians must remain filled with the Holy Spirit. If I have a full tank of gas in my car and I start driving (going out into the world) my gas gauge will start to go down. If I do not fill my tank it will eventually run dry and my car will stop. There are many important filling stations for Christians. Daily prayer, bible study and your church, are all crucial. The part we play is to help keep you filled when you are out in the world, on a daily basis. We cannot do what prayer, bible study or your church can do.
While you are out in the world it is our desire that you hear music that touches your heart and you hear teaching that inspires you and will keep you close to Jesus. Some people say, “isn’t your most important job reaching the lost?” Let’s be honest. Most people that are not Christian are not going to listen to our station. People who are non-Christian listen to our station but the Holy Spirit draws them and when the Holy Spirit draws them it is our job to provide the right music and message for them. We can’t draw them, only the Holy Spirit can and we pray that HE does.
We ask for your prayers for all of us involved in this ministry. It is not about us. It is all about HIM.

With thankful hearts we are happy to say that Lake City Educational Broadcasting, Inc. is proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ 24 hours a day through strong Bible based teaching, personal testimonies and the very best in Christian Music.
It is our prayer that you will be blessed and drawn closer to the Lord Jesus through the various ministries of this station.
WJIA is a non-profit, non-commercial, public supported ministry. Anything you can do to help us reach this area with the gospel will be most appreciated. |
